Lay the ladder rack pieces out so they are easy to assemble in the order you need them. The one thing you will need is exposed framing on the inside of the wall like in the pictures. This board adds strength and support. Cut the pieces you need.

I made this truck rack for myself because im building my deck and i had to transport 16 lumber and the hardware store was charging 60 per delivery so as a diyer i decided that for four 2x4s and couples screws i could build myself a rack.
